THE BRIEF

Annie started Annie Gallagher Interiors after years of developing her own thoughtful approach to interior design. While she had previously worked with a designer on a logo, she never received a complete brand identity to support the growth of her business.

As her portfolio and experience continued to grow, she wanted a brand that felt more reflective of where her studio is today: timeless, refined, and inspired by the character, history, and craftsmanship that influence her work.

The visual identity encompassed many different elements, including the logo suite, color palette, typography, textures, and supporting brand assets. Every piece was intentionally designed to reflect the heritage, elegance, structure, and layered lived-in feeling that Annie brings to her interiors. The goal was to create a brand that felt timeless and refined while still feeling warm, personal, and approachable.

The logo suite features a serif wordmark, a custom AG monogram, a botanical emblem, and supporting stamp elements that work together to create a flexible and cohesive visual system. Each mark serves a different purpose while contributing to the overall story of the brand.

To complement the botanical illustration, I created a custom AG monogram that overlaps the letterforms in a way that feels classic, architectural, and understated. The monogram offers a more structured expression of the brand and was designed to highlight the heritage, elegance, and simplicity found throughout Annie’s work. It can be used across a variety of applications, from business cards and project signage to digital and marketing materials.

The botanical emblem introduces a softer side to the identity. While the monogram brings structure and refinement, the floral illustration adds warmth, femininity, and character. Paired with the supporting stamp elements, it reinforces the collected and historic feeling behind the brand while creating a visual balance between sophistication and approachability.

Texture played an important role throughout the identity. Inspired by the materials often found in Annie’s interiors, I incorporated elements reminiscent of wood, leather, stone, and other natural finishes. Annie was also especially drawn to marble paper, which became a recurring detail throughout the brand, adding depth, character, and a collected feel.

The color palette was designed to support that same warmth and character. Grounded and understated, the colors create a timeless foundation that allows Annie’s interior photography to take center stage while reinforcing the layered, refined nature of her work.
